my Story

I was born and raised in Los Angeles and was working as a model by the time I was 14. After years in the business at such a young age, I was severely suffering from body image issues. By 17 I had developed chronic pain and fatigue that I couldn't seem to shake. It was at this time that yoga found its way into my life.

I discovered that the practice was deeply relaxing and helped relieve my achy joints, tension in my muscles and constant fatigue. I thought of the practice as more of a "work out" than anything else and it wasn't until years later, that I realized it's also a practice of "working in". Once I made the commitment to make this practice a part of my everyday it truly transformed my life. I used to allow outside subjects like people, situations, circumstances and things affect how I valued myself. Yoga has given me the experiential knowledge that we are beyond this physical body and beyond this sort of object-referal way of living that is so limiting. Yoga allows us to experience the true nature of our being. In our true essence we are all infinite potential and infinite possibilities and that experiential knowledge allows you to soar past any idea of limitation. The only way to truly understand this is through experience…Yoga reconnected me to the feeling of INNER ABUNDANCE and LIBERATION. I knew then that I was the only one limiting myself and my life…

I took that knowledge and I decided to leave the modeling world behind and start a new life as a yoga teacher. I had no idea what that would look like or how I would make enough money but I knew in my heart and soul that this was my dharma (purpose). Once I did something that was from my heart and soul the whole world opened up to me and supported me along my journey and it has been the most rewarding feeling I could've ever imagined. Beyond the philosophical aspect of yoga, It’s benefits for the body are endless. This is truly the gift that never stops giving.

I made a commitment to myself and my students to never stop learning and studying yoga. To be a teacher is to forever be a student and I'm on a path of sharing yoga in all the different paths and forms it comes to spread healing and well being to anyone that's open and willing to receive.

I promise you, yoga is for everyBODY!
